A game is a game. We stopped counting.
Update — July 2026: pricing has moved on since this post. ARCADEBOX.AI now runs on Credits, at posted rates (an AI build is 10 Credits, an AI edit is 2), with playing and sharing always free. The current model is on the pricing page. The post below is kept as we wrote it.
Ask people what they hate most about AI creative tools and you'll hear the same answer everywhere: the meter. You describe your idea, the AI misunderstands it, and the counter ticks down anyway. You just paid for someone else's mistake — a machine's, no less. Meters punish the two things that actually make a game good: trying again, and trying something weird.
We used to count too. Games, not credits — we were proud of it, and it was fairer than most. But a counter is a counter. It still made you hesitate before pressing make, and hesitation is where good games go to die. So we did the honest thing and asked what we were charging for. Not the games — we don't make those. You do. BIT is the tool; you're the maker. Charging you per game is like a hardware store charging per nail you hammer.
Plans buy power, never permission. And a failure never costs you anything.
So that's the model now. Making games is free — no counter, no meter, nothing ticking behind your back. Paid plans buy the heavy stuff: multiplayer hosting, private games, commercial rights, the bigger engines. Power, not permission. And if BIT gets your game wrong, that's on us, not your bill. Fixing it is free too, forever. Now go make something weird.
